Individual Retirement Account (IRA)

With most members gaining tax advantages along with the high dividends IRAs can earn, an IRA club or certificate IRA will help provide the means to a secure retirement. For added protection, Valley Credit Union IRAs are insured separately by the National Credit Union Administration for up to $250,000.

Note: Rates given apply to Savings Certificate and IRA Certificate accounts, including Traditional, Roth, and Education IRAs. There is a $500 minimum opening deposit for all certificates. Rates are subject to change without notice. Dividends are calculated based on the average daily balance and are compounded and credited quarterly. When applicable, regular CD's also have the option of receiving dividends paid monthly by check or deposit into designated VCU account. Early withdrawal penalties may apply. All accounts are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration.
